• Your email address, if you sign in. That is the only personal detail we ask for — no name, no phone number, no résumé.
• What you do on the board: the roles you open, the Apply buttons you click, the filters you set and what you search for.

Signed out, your activity is tied to a random ID stored in a cookie only this site can read. Clearing your cookies erases it for good.

We do not ask for or infer your race, gender, age, religion, politics, health, income or school. We do not fingerprint your device, and we do not track you across other websites.

We never see your application. When you click Apply you go to the employer’s own site, and everything you write there is between you and them.

One thing: putting the most useful internships near the top. The board is ordered mostly by what everyone is opening and applying to, and the more you use it, the more your own history shapes your view of it.

We also count how the board is used in aggregate — which filters people reach for, where they give up — so it can be made better. That never includes your email address or what you typed into the search box.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with employers or recruiters. Employers cannot see who viewed a role.

A small number of vendors process data on our behalf so the site can run at all: hosting, the database behind it, product analytics, and the service that sends your sign-in link. They may only use it to provide that service to us.

Activity used for ranking stops counting after two months. Sign-in links expire quickly and can only be used once. Delete your account and your email address and history go with it.

You can turn personalisation off in Settings, which stops your activity being recorded at all — the board still works, it is just ordered the same way for everyone. You can also export or delete everything we hold from the same page.
